Evading responsibility for refugee protection

The Danish government has suggested to externalise asylum processing and refugee protection to a third country. In this publication, Danish Refugee Council explains why such schemes can have serious consequences for the rights of vulnerable asylum seekers and the global refugee protection system. DRC also points to solutions that would increase refugee protection.
